Our Student Subcommittee oversees the student-led dialogue and debate series.

Co-chairs

McMaster Health Forum Fellow, Emily Milko
Emily is a fourth year student in the Honours Arts & Science program with a minor in biology, and a Forum Fellow for 2012-13. She has served as marketing coordinator of the McMaster Health Forum’s Student Subcommittee. Emily will apply her interests in chronic disease prevention and management to the subcommittee topics during this academic year, and will lead the implementation of the subcommittee’s social media strategy.

McMaster Health Forum Fellow, Sherna Tamboly
Sherna is a fourth year student in the Bachelor of Health Sciences program with a specialization in global health, and a Forum Fellow for 2012-13. She worked as event logistics coordinator for the Forum student subcommittee in 2011-12, and has been actively involved in several other committees on campus. As a subcommittee co-chair, Sherna will help lead the plans for a variety of events that can generate student discussion on pressing issues in the realm of health systems, policies and research.
