Our people

The Forum brings together an exciting and diverse group of people committed to improving health outcomes through collective problem solving. Our Director manages the Forum, co-chairs the Steering Committee and related sub-committees, and works closely with the Managing Director, who is responsible for the day-to-day management and Forum staff. A scientific International Advisory Board and Forum sub-committees provide strategic direction and advice to help ensure we maintain exceptionally high standards for both scientific excellence and societal relevance.

The Steering Committee, comprising representatives from across the McMaster community, oversees the Forum's strategic directions with input from three sub-committees and an international advisory board.

The Scientific and Education Subcommittee oversees the Stakeholder Dialogues, Faculty-Led Dialogue and Debate series, Simulations Course, Visiting Scholars, and Fellows Programs.

The Student Subcommittee oversees the Student-led Dialogue and Debate series.

The Community Subcommittee oversees the Citizen Panels and Public Talks programs.

An International Advisory Board, comprising world renowned 'doers and thinkers', provides strategic direction and advice.
